Badly Drawn Boy, "The hour of bewilder beast
I thought this was a punk band when I first heard their name, but its actually consists of really talented musicians, and its relaxing, but the singers voice isnt that original, but fits the music very well, its pretty. The singer also sounds like the singer of Ozma.
The Cardigans "Stockholm 95" live CD that sounds like best show ever, sounds like the best time, man how much I would of paid to be there. I would of danced like crazy, maybe even cried of joy, I cant express how much fun it sounds.
The Cardigans, "Live 2004" sounds sweet but not as sweet as 1995. Man it would be sweet to see this band, its the first time they came to America in five years, and they dont go to Cleveland. Why, why, and why, i mean Cleveland Rocks.
The Cardigans DVD, "UK TV appearances" Awesome, but it wont work on my DVD player very well, its a shame, because there is some very interesting stuff on there and I can barley make out what they say. Cool fact: Nina used to try and sing like a child on the first few CDs. It all makes sense now.
Beastie Boys, "to the 5 boroughs"
Sweet beats, I love sweet beats, I like the shriek-y guys voice, I wish I knew how to work a turntable/mog/synth, because thats the best part of some of these bands, basically the only good thing in Linkin Park, their rapping sucks so bad.
The White Stripes, elephant
Sweet driving music, I like the singles a lot, but I Dont know what to do with myself is the greatest.
The White Stripes, De Stijl, I think I like this a little better then elephant, Apple Blossom is my favorite song of the summer. Annie explained to me what De Stijl means, but I dont feel like explaining it.
PJ Harvey, Dry, the most inspiring CD, all my new songs seem a little related to this CD, but dont start singing Dead Disco lyrics on me yet, Im not trying to rip off PJ Harvey, I think we express our emotions threw music a like, well this is the best CD of summer. My name is actually in one of the songs, which is cool, I dont care that its for another Marie...
Stella Marie, you're my star
Stella Marie, you're my star
Stand on ground look up at her
Just hanging in gold stone
Just hanging there face froze
But i think i see her smiling
I think i see her smiling
I think i see her smiling
I think i see her smiling
go
go go go go
Stella Marie, you're my star
In your blue blue tavern you light my lantern
Oh Stella's large
Pink almond face
It's glowing in space
PJ Harvey, stories from the city, stores from the sea, not as good as Dry
PJ Harvey, Is this Desire? not as good as Dry
PJ Harvey, Rid of Me not as good as Dry
Muse, Absolution its really sweet, but British people piss me off, but actually Blur doesnt. Apocalypse Please is a really first-rate track. The singer is really emotional when he sings, gasps for air. Kind of sounds like the guy from Radiohead, I dont like Radiohead very much at all. But emotion in songs is cool sometimes.
No Doubt, Return Of Saturn, the thing about no doubt their only good songs are their singles, but good is a under statement, Bathwater, ex girlfriend, and simple kind of life and so good and the perfect pop songs, so catchy and I love them. They are so well done.
No Doubt, Rock Steady, only the singles are good again, but they are sweet and worth it the whole CD. They are so well produced and put together really well, and the guest singers sound relaxing and conjoin very well with no doubt.
